Since 1995, Passat specializes in the manufacture of compact turnkey nano and picosecond diode-pumped solid-state lasers and related nonlinear optical components. Using innovative designs that exploit solid-state phase conjugation, pulse compression and frequency conversion, Passat makes diode-pumped solid state lasers with harmonics generators and Raman shifters that cover the spectrum range from eye-safe (1.6 µm) to UV (213 nm, 266 nm, 355 nm).
Lasers from the Compiler family operating at wavelengths 1064 nm, 532 nm, 355 nm, 266 nm, 213 nm are affordable, high peak power, rugged picosecond sources. The short pulse length and the high peak power make the Compiler models a very suitable tool for micromachining, remote sensing and other applications.
The Compiler Upgrade is the 400- Hz picosecond laser with a high peak power (300MW at 1064 nm). The laser consists of the laser head fiber-coupled with the power module.
The Sub-Naples series of Q-switched, DPSS lasers are high-peak-power, rugged, turnkey, sub-nanosecond units with output at any or all of the wavelengths: 1064 nm, 532 nm and 266 nm. The relatively short pulse length and high peak power make the SUB-Naples family particularly suitable for use in LIDAR, km-scale laser ranging (at 1064 nm), micromachining, mass spectrometry and other applications.
